In general, an assumed resistivity profile is generated and used to calculate an apparent resistivity profile which is compared to the recorded field data. Since the resistivity profile cannot be directly computed from apparent resistivity measurements, an inversion method must be used to estimate the resistivity profile e. More recent innovations use arrays of many probes for measuring cross-sections, or probes in grid patterns for tomography methods which allow 2D and 3D subsurface imaging.Įlectrical resistivity surveys directly provide an estimate of the apparent resistivity of the surveyed material. An example of this class of array is shown in Figure 1. Based on the applied current and the measured voltage, the apparent electrical resistance of the subsurface can be measured. Wenner, Schlumberger, and dipole-dipole arrays. Two sets of probes are typically inserted vertically into the soil one set delivers a current into the soil and the second set measure the voltage differential over some distance i. Electrical resistivity surveys involve inserting electrodes directly into the ground surface and transmitting an electrical current into the soil which acts as a resistive medium.

If you buy the van please make instant contact at the end of the sale and be aware that I require full payment within 5 days of the sale ending. A full receipt will of course be given to the buyer as well as a form V62 to apply for a new V5c There is no V5c with the van, that was lost long ago! The van is on the DVLA records and the Vosa Mot website. It is not in a condition where it can be driven away so factor in any recovery cost before you buy I am located at PE13 5RF which is near Wisbech Cambs, make sure you know where I am and how far you may have to travel before bidding or buying the van. If you have any questions or want to arrange a view please contact me through eBay or message/call me (.). Viewing is very welcome and recommended as my description and opinion may differ from yours so please come and have a peek and a chat before bidding. The interior is all complete and original and is filthy! The cab and rear floor coverings could all do with replacing but all the fixtures and fittings are in good condition, I haven't tried any of the gas items such as the fridge or cooker but they are all present and correct as are the roof hammocks, the table, sink, wardrobe, etc I have fitted a new battery, obviously, and the exhaust looks remarkably good other than a missing piece of tailpipe. There are no brakes currently apart from the handbrake, I have had the drums off and derusted them so that the van rolls easily but it will need, in my opinion, all the wheel cylinders, flexi hoses and possibly some brake pipes replacing as I would not want to risk driving on the ones currently fitted, likewise it will also need all new tyres as the ones on the van are very perished although they hold air. I have got the van running since digging it out of its resting place, it only needed a new ignition coil to get it to run and fired up straight away still on 18 year old fuel! It is obviously going to need a full and comprehensive service before using it but it can be driven for loading purposes when its collected The bonnet is very good! The front panel is rusty but the good news is I have a very good one here to replace it which will be included in the sale

Some of the usual CF rot spots are amazingly good, the front door steps and wheel arches/rocker panels are rust free and the soundest I have seen for a good few years.

There is some rust on the rear wheel arches, but easily repairable, the tops of the front wings has some bubbling as does the lower edges of the rear doors and the drivers front door. It has been waxoiled which has preserved it well, the underneath is very sound and as far as I can see requires NO welding. The CF has the 2.3 petrol engine with a 4 speed manual gearboxĪs you can see from the enlarged pictures the van is in quite sound condition. The van is being sold as an easy restoration project or for parts. The CF was last used in 2000 and was parked in its garage and left after the owner sadly died.
